Creative Tools – who owns and operates www.flashforge-eu.com – has several ongoing support cases derived from faulty Flashforge Guider II mother boards. This is caused by a firmware update.
Our advice:
DO NOT UPDATE GUIDER II FIRMWARE! Do not accept firmware update on the Guider II* display. Ignore update for now and await further information.
This might only be an issue for Guider II 3D printers manufactured during a specific time period. As a precaution we recommend all Guider II owners to ignore the update for now.
*This issue does not apply Guider IIS 3D printers.
