High-res 3D print with FlashForge Hunter

A while ago we wanted to test the limits of the 3D printer FlashForge Hunter, by printing a really hard object with lots of small details. We downloaded a free 3D model of the Eiffel Tower from the site Thingiverse.com. The Eiffel Tower, with all its small details, was 3D printed with no problem on the FlashForge Hunter. We were really impressed by the result. Have a look below.

Looks good, doesn’t it? 😉 The printed version of the 3D model is approximately 12 cm tall, and it took a bit less than 9 hours to print. We used the snow white resin from Fun To Do, and some pigment to achieve the grey colour.

About FlashForge Hunter 3D Printer

FlashForge Hunter is a 3D printer that differs from 3D printers using the FFF (Fused FIlament Fabrication) technology. It is based on the Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology, which is renowned for providing extremely high detailed print results – something that FlashForge Hunter definitely lives up to. DLP 3D printers cures liquid plastic instead of melting and extruding plastic wire on a spool (filament).
